Privacy policy

Scenelabs is run by Everlife One Corp. ("we", "us"), which is responsible for the data described here. Contact: hello@scenelabs.io.

What we collect

Your account details (email, name), your onboarding answers (the kind of business you're in, the ads you want to make, how you found us), the briefs, product photos, pages and scripts you give us, the ads we generate for you, your credit and billing history, and standard usage and device information. Payment card details go to Stripe; we never see the full card number.

Why

To run the service (generate your ads, keep your library, bill your plan), to make the product better (what gets made, what works), to answer support, and to send you product email you can turn off. Onboarding answers help us tune templates and the writer to your kind of business.

Who else sees it

The providers that run the service on our behalf: hosting and storage (Vercel, Supabase), AI model providers that process your briefs, photos and scripts to generate content, payments (Stripe), and analytics. If you connect an ad account, the platform's own terms apply to the data it shares with us. We do not sell your data.

If you connect Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads)

Connecting Meta is optional. When you do, you sign in with Facebook and choose what to share. With your permission, Meta shares with us: your Meta name and user ID, the ad accounts (and the business that owns each) and the Facebook Pages you can manage, the Instagram account linked to each Page, an access token, and the performance figures of the ads in the ad account you pick (spend, impressions, clicks, results and similar). We ask for these permissions: ads_management, ads_read and pages_show_list.

We use this only to do what you ask in Scenelabs:

• list your ad accounts and Pages so you can pick where your ads go and which Page they post as;
• upload the ads you choose to your ad account and create the campaign and ad set you send them to. Ads always arrive paused; nothing runs or spends until you switch it on in Meta Ads Manager;
• show how those ads perform in Analyze.

We don’t sell this data, use it to advertise to you or anyone else, build profiles from it, use it to make decisions about anyone’s eligibility for anything, or share it with anyone except the hosting providers that store it for us. We don’t use it to train AI models. We handle it in line with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

What we keep: the connection (your Meta name and ID, the lists of ad accounts and Pages, your picks and the access token) and a record of each ad you send (its Meta ad, campaign and ad set IDs) so a retry never sends it twice. Performance figures are read from Meta each time you open Analyze; we don’t store them. The access token is stored encrypted, server side, is never sent to your browser, and expires after about 60 days unless you reconnect.

Disconnect any time in Settings → Meta: the connection, the token and our records of the ads you sent are deleted from our database straight away, and Scenelabs’ access is revoked at Meta. You can also remove Scenelabs in your Facebook settings under Apps and websites. Ads already in your ad account stay there under your control; manage or delete them in Meta Ads Manager.

Your content

Product photos and generated media are stored so your library works and are served by URL. You can delete your account and its saved data from Settings → Plan & credits.

Deleting your data

To delete everything: Settings → Plan & credits → Delete account. That removes your account, library, jobs, workspace and any Meta connection and Meta records (ads sent, campaigns, tokens) we hold. To delete only your Meta data, disconnect in Settings → Meta. Can't sign in, or want us to do it? Email hello@scenelabs.io from your account's address and we'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Retention and security

We keep account data while your account exists and for a short period after, then delete or anonymise it, except where we must keep records (for example invoices). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our providers.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@scenelabs.io. If you're in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your settings and measure how the product is used. No advertising cookies.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll say so in the app or by email.
